2018 REGISTRATION Information:
General Information: The 26th Annual MAFP Family Medicine Update is presented by the Maine Academy of Family Physicians to provide ongoing quality education for family physicians through didactic lectures and breakout sessions on practical subjects.
The Conference Location:
Black Bear Inn & Conference Center, 4 Godfrey Dr., Orono, Maine
The MAFP has reserved a block of rooms at the Black Bear Inn at the special rate of $89 (1 person), $99 (2 people). For other rates (suites, etc), please call the hotel directly. Rates are valid 3 days pre- and post- conference dates. These room rates are guaranteed to be available only until March 4th, after that call hotel for availability.
Please make your own hotel reservation directly with the Black Bear Inn by calling: 207-866-7120. You must tell the reservations clerk that you are attending the MAFP Meeting – Group Code: MAFP. Special rates must be requested at the time of reservation.
Registration Refund Policy:
A full refund less a $45 administrative fee will be issued to prepaid registrants unable to attend when requested in writing. Refund requests must be in writing. **Deadline – postmarked or emailed by March 28th*
The MAFP discourages bringing children into educational events because it could be a distraction to the attendees' learning experience. Please make arrangements for your own individual childcare. Children and adult guests are welcome at the Celebration on Thursday evening – see registration form for guest ticket prices.
If you have any physical or other dietary requirements that may require accommodations in order to fully participate in this activity, please call the MAFP office before March 1st. ** Please note we are aware that this event is during Passover – we will be making sure that there are numerous Passover-compliant menu options.
