MAFP & AAFP Membership for Family Medicine Residents

          FM Residents can join both the AAFP  & MAFP easily with one application form.
               (Check with your Residency, most pay the membership fee)

MAFP & AAFP Membership for Medical Students

Students applying for student membership must be enrolled in medical or osteopathic school approved by an appropriate United States accrediting institution as defined by Academy's Commission on Education.

AAFP Student Membership Dues:  Student membership is FREE for medical students who are enrolled in a Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) of an Americal Osteopathic Association's COmmission on Osteopathic College Accrediatation (AOA COCA) accredited medical school.

Membership terminates upon graduation. If you desire to maintain AAFP Membership, you must reapply for Resident status.

For students attending an international medical school, the AAFP offers a membership option tailored to meet your specific needs. To apply, please complete and submit an online AAFP Student membership application or you may download, print, complete and submit an AAFP Student membership application. Please indicate your medical school name and address, as well as completing your contact information as indicated on the form.
