Health and Safety Protocols for MAFP Meetings and Events

(2023-February) These protocols may be revised at any time the MAFP deems appropriate or advisable based on local or national conditions.

The safety of meeting attendees is the MAFP’s top priority. To that end, we encourage all attendees who are eligible and able to be up to date on their COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters per current CDC guidance before attending.

Masking at MAFP meetings is optional at the attendee’s discretion unless the conference facility polices require.  Please comply with all posted health requirements.

In addition, we ask attendees who are not feeling well NOT TO TRAVEL to the meeting. If an attendee feels unwell or is displaying symptoms during the meeting, we recommend testing and refraining from contact with others.

The MAFP closely monitors the CDC’s travel guidelines as well as state and local guidelines. We encourage you to visit and monitor the MAFP meeting webpage to stay abreast of the latest updates on health and safety protocols for this MAFP event.

In addition, the MAFP encourages attendees to visit their hotel’s website or contact the hotel for their most up-to-date health and safety information.
